To Our Greatest Success
Model yourself After Success
Do you want to be successful? Then you need to model yourself after successful people. Anything that you can think about doing, chances are it’s already been done. So why try to re-invent the wheel?
Most of the goals that we set out for ourselves, whether it be to achieve financial wealth, break a worlds record, or the first person to attempt something new; I can guarantee you that someone in the past or present had either succeeded already or have at least attempted something similar.
You can use the success of others as a resource to model yourself after. The simple fact of it all is that both success and failure will leave you some major clues for you to follow.
If you can learn from others mistakes it’ll save you the time and trouble of having to go through it yourself. The opposite is also true. If you can learn from other’s successes, you can perhaps come up with better alternatives if not a faster way of achieving the same goal.
Remember you are not alone in your quest in achieving your goals and dreams, many have gone before you. It is said that we learn better by making our own mistakes but why make them if we don’t have to? Mistakes often hold people back and deter many of the ability to stay focus to carry out their objectives.
We can most certainly use the wisdom, knowledge, and life experiences of those that have succeeded in obtaining the goals and dreams that are similar with ours in fulfillment of our life’s journey.
You have a world of resources at our fingertips to explore the successes of others so you can start modeling yourself after. There are articles, audios, books, blogs, movies, and videos, all available through the internet.
Let’s say for instance you decided one day that you wanted to become a funambulist, but not just any kind; you want to become the world’s greatest. So what do you do? Use your resources.
Do a search on the internet and see what comes up and then emerge yourself into the world of tightrope walking. Surround yourself with people who share the same interest as you and study up on it.
Learn from the greatest and mingle it with your own personal experience and I can assure you’ll achieve your goals a lot quicker than without the information or trying to go at it on your own.
This modeling yourself after successful people applies to every goal that you can set for yourself, from losing weight to career in management. Read what other great achievers have written about in their experiences, what worked and didn’t work for them.
Exploring your resources on topics or goals that you may be interested in achieving is invaluable. It gives you a great starting point but if you want to kick it up a notch, the next step is to surround yourself with the real live experts, coaches or mentors.
Surrounding yourself with like minded people will definitely inspire you. Knowing that these people share your same dreams and goals will encourage you to continue your quest not to mention how much time and effort you’ll save from trial and error.
Master the art of modeling yourself after successful people and you will achieve all your goals and dreams.
